Paris Plages

Paris Plages is a fun summer event in Paris where parts of the city turn into temporary beaches. Every year, starting in July and lasting until August, the banks of the River Seine and other spots around the city are transformed with sand, deckchairs, and umbrellas.

People can come here to relax, sunbathe, and enjoy activities like beach volleyball and pétanque (a game similar to boules). There are often food stalls and entertainment, making it a lively place for both locals and visitors.

Paris Plages gives people a taste of a beach vacation right in the heart of the city, providing a cool and pleasant escape from the summer heat. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends, enjoy some sun, and have fun.

The nearest metro station to this place is “Pont Neuf”
